I visited this facility Westminster Oaks Tallahassee is very nice, but the buy-ins are expensive. If you cancel in the first year, you get half your money back. If you cancel within the second year, you get a little more back. However, after two years, you're fully paid into it. The advantage is that you can't be kicked out if you can't afford to live there anymore. The studios are small rooms with small kitchens. I am/was a resident of this facility My wife and I have lived at Westminster Oaks for 12 years now, in a house that was built for us. We love the house, and it meets our needs. We eat at home, so we don't use the central cafeteria. As a retired clergyman, we received a generous discount to our entrance fee. We had saved up for such a cost since we had decided long before to retire to a CCRC facility. I visited this facility I visited Westminster Oaks Tallahassee for my mom. The only thing that I didn't like was it wasn't quite as clean as the other places I visited. The staff was very friendly, but I noticed some residents were just there, there were no people around them. They were just sort of sitting there by themselves. The staff who gave me the tour didn't provide a lot of information. The rooms were very cramped. The young lady said, "This is a standard room. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Westminster Oaks is wonderful. You can go from stage one to the end of the stage and I've followed quite a few friends that way, like you can have a big house, a little house, and you can move into assisted living and all of that. It's very alive there, they have buses that take you shopping, or to your doctor. I think it's the best one in Tallahassee. It's also the most expensive, but they take of their needs.

I visited this facility Westminster Oaks is a ten out of ten, but it's just not as convenient a location as the other one we visited. The facility and the apartments were newer and more impressive. They were beautiful apartments, beautiful buildings, and beautiful grounds. I didn't eat any food there, but they had a beautiful dining room, a library, and a gym. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Westminister Oaks Retirement was an excellent facility. My mother-in-law moved into independent living and then went to assisted living. The couple times I ate there with her, I was not impressed with the food, but it's a very good facility. The activities seem very good and they did an excellent job of trying to get my mother-in-law to participate. It's expensive.

I visited this facility Westminister Oaks Retirement's staff was really nice. The place is very clean and well kept up. The monthly rates were very reasonable, but they do have a big buy-in. The facilities and dining room were very nice, and the food smelled wonderful. They had a chapel, reading areas, library, movie room, game room, store, and beauty shop. The place was a little older and dated but very nice.

I visited this facility I liked Westminster Oaks the best. They have something that's called a villa, which is a separate home. It's too expensive for me. We have a lot of friends living there. The food was good.

I visited this facility I really liked Westminster Oaks because their setup is different than other senior living facilities. They have houses or apartments that are in a neighborhood for those who need somebody to come in and remind them to take medication but aren’t quite at a level where they need 24-hour care. In the heart of this little community, they have a facility where each resident has their own room set up like an apartment. I got a really good feeling from it.
