RecommendedMy mother (Louise Winters) has returned to rehab at the health center. She had not been able to even stand after her hip surgery a week ago. The day we came back Lisa ( a wonderful Physical therapist) had her standing for two minutes!! I’m so glad mom is here. So PT, OT and speech are the key to stroke recovery !

RecommendedFabulous Rapid Rehab now open to our community! Absolutely awesome care from all staff: nursing, therapy, housekeeping, dining staff. Everyone is attentive to your needs; you're treated like a guest and not like a patient. Therapy is 2x/day 7 days/week. Staff is engaged with patients and each other. Lots of tenure among the employees and when it's a great to work, it's a great place to regain health and mobility. RecommendedFlorida Presbyterian Homes is where I live. My husband & I live in "independent living". My parents lived here and so did my husband's parents. Wonderful staff caring for us the rest of our lives.
If you want your loved one cared for in the rehab area.. DO NOT a LEAVE THEM!! Nurses/aides will sit at the “nurses station” pretending to work while your loved one is screaming for help. April who works 3-11 shift will try the smooth talking BS to cover the fact that a surgical dressing hasn’t been changed in days!!! She didn’t see the site and yet she did the assessment!
