I went to this place yesterday (1-28-26) to see my grandmother. The woman at the front desk seen me standing outside in 40 degree weather and would not get up to open the door! When she finally did, she said “you know there’s a phone number to call so someone can let you in” which I found very rude. Fast forward to the next day which is today (1-29-26) I went to visit my grandmother again. I have lived here for 5 years. I love it. It has a great location. It is easy to get around if you don’t have a car. It’s clean and well-maintained. There are a lot of activities and get-togethers. All the staff are wonderful from maintenance to administration. They respond immediately to any needs that need addressing.
I have family member who lives there and is living in a hell hole! Up Date: my family members living there are now living in a water damaged building!
My friends that live at the Jefferson Center are very happy with their view and the friendly atmosphere!
Affordable, friendly people, lots of activities, lovely gardens and grounds and across the street from the bay!
